Photos taken in and around Basingstoke. With these images, I am trying to pick out interesting structural elements and architecture. For me, this is an ongoing study of this town that I will continue to build on over time. My aim with this collection is to take small portraits of the town, picking out both the most recognisable structures, simplified and focussed, without any distractions. I am not interested in the whole picture - only the key lines, shapes and forms, often out of context, leaving the environment ambiguous and keeping you guessing.
